Sometimes photographs hide stories very different from the mood they transmit.
This is the case of this shooting: I’ve photographed Raffaella Bellen (founder of Metamorfosys) in a room full of people, who at the same time were practicing acro yoga.
In other words, we’ve “stolen” a small space and a white wall for our shooting.
A wide angle to transmit spatiality and a single light source were the only tolls to realize these photos in a few minutes.
I’ve liked the idea of maintaining this minimalism even with the very limited post-production, and in the use of black and white, which makes the images very graphic.
Simplicity and speed of execution sometimes help us to work with serenity and calm even in the most messy environments.
