Some photographs that have really made history (large or small), rather than describing it.
Sometimes these images are imperfect, even wrong, but they bring  us in a mood or “they tell a story“.
One great example is the  London Calling cover (one of my favorite albums).

Well, initially the author of photography, Pennie Smith, had not selected it as too out of focus.
But how different could the band’s iconography be without this cover, with the image “wrong” and grainy” of Paul Simonon smashing his bass, which encompasses the whole spirit of “Combat Rock“.
A curiosity: the cover lettering is a clear homage to that of an Elvis Presley record.
